Forest Hill Funeral Home East was established in 1971 and is our our largest funeral home facility. I would like to thank Forrest Hill funeral Home and staff Mrs Pat and Dewayne for doing a excellent job on our loved ones service on Saturday. Funeral service for my great aunt went as planned. Our family will definitely use this location from now on.
The first cemetery, on Elvis Presley Blvd, began with 160 acres, but 40 were acquired by the US Postal Service. It's a beautiful cemetery, with 100-year old oaks and maple trees and monuments dating back into the 1800's. Over the years there have been many revisions and enhancements to the Chapel. Family and friends can send flowers and/or light a candle as a loving gesture for their loved one.

Though we had went the day before the funeral to go over it. None of these things were brought to our attention.. On the day of, it took over 20 minutes for them to get their music together for it. As we, family and friends tried sitting there patiently for them to fix the problem. Once the indoor part was over, there was a briefing from a very kind gentleman who explained where the graveside would take place immediately following. However, there was no special car apparently for the family to ride behind the hurse in.

I continue to follow up with no resolutions and now time is coming that our baby sister is still without her headstone almost one year later. I noticed two plots in front of her have their headstones and their date of death was after hers. I was in town this past weekend to visit my sister’s site and noticed that she is still without her headstone 10 months later. My brother and I are very heavy hearted not for just this lost, but we also lost our mother in March 2020. As you can imagine we have a lot of emotions going on. I know that the headstone will not bring our baby sister back, but it will help with emotional stability.

We should not have to go out East or Mid Town.This is not what families wanted or we would have bought our service in another area . This might not be important to your company but it is to our families who trusted we could have all prearranged services in one location. This is the cost to purchase a casket from the funeral home. And right now, I'm not very comfortable with that after witnessing one after another after another mishap at my father's funeral.

Buried my Aunt and Uncle after waiting 7 weeks for the cremation. We had to wallow around in mud and water like hogs. And an update on my mother's tombstone, a year and a half later there still isn't a plaque on it with her name after paying for it in October 2020. The building burned in June 23, 2018 why has the building not been replaced.
